Speech and Language Therapy

Communication: connection is key.

At Acorn, we understand that nurturing strong relationships is essential for successful speech and language therapy. We believe in getting to know each child individually, discovering their unique strengths and interests, and having fun along the way. Our team of therapists is skilled in a variety of evidence-based approaches, ensuring that your child's therapy plan is customised to the way they learn.

Our Speech-Language Therapists can support you with:

  • The sounds the young person uses when they communicate.

  • The young person’s understanding of words/communication.

  • The young person’s use of words/communication.

  • The young person’s use of language in social contexts.

  • Ready and writing skills.

  • High & low-tech devices, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
